Western Bulldogs v Melbourne Demons
Saturday 25/9/21
This shapes as a hugely intriguing grand final clash – and we still don’t really know how many people will be allowed at Optus Stadium with WA’s COVID scare.
There is so much on the line for the Demons as they look to break a near-60 year premiership drought.
But I’m tipping the talented Bulldogs – with size and speed across the ground and a finals mastermind coach – will prove a tough opponent.
Both sides are unbeaten at this ground in 2021 with the venue suiting their style of play.
I’m loathe to tip against the Demons, because since Max Gawn’s match-winning after the siren goal in Round 23 to beat the Cats and lock in the minor premiership, they’ve looked near unbeatable.
As for the Dogs, a late season slump cost a top four spot but they gave absolutely found their mojo as the finals kicked in.
I just think this will be so close that the Dogs must be the bet at the price. They have the tall options to nullify Gawn’s influence across the ground.
Suggested bet: 3u Bulldogs win at $2.26
