Canterbury Stakes 2024 Preview

Track: Good Weather: Fine

Think About It resumes off a break. Hard to see it getting beaten if wound up enough. Espiona maps well from barrier 2 and looks well placed against this lot with J-Mac in the saddle. Pericles looks a place chance from the good draw while Lady Laguna has been going superbly this prep and can give this a shake with a nice draw.

Winning machine that looks terribly hard to beat. Won’t be easy from barrier 8 and fresh but impossible to tip against.

A lot to like about the last start run and drawn to do no work. Place chance.

Can land up on the speed and maps for a good time of it from barrier 5. Chance in this field.

4. Bandersnatch (3)

Can’t have.

Prefer others.

6. Espiona (2)

She’s classy when on song and is the main danger to the favourite. Good enough to win and maps well from barrier 2. Right in the mix here.

7. Lady Laguna (6)

Having a superb prep and hard to knock. Can sit up on the speed and give a bold sight. Solid hope.
