Silver Bo (Geraldton Race 3 No. 8)
This five-year-old mare resumed after a 16 week spell for a 0.4 length win over 1100m at Geraldton. She got to the back of the field and was forced wide, raced wide without cover, struck interference near the 250m, laid in near the 100m and still managed to get there in the final strides. Imagine if things had gone right! This is a similar race and she looks a solid each-way bet at the current $7.50.

Marinsky Ballet (Geraldton Race 4 No. 3)
This four-year-old Mahuta mare trained by Jason Miller is the early favourite in this Class Two Handicap over 1400m. She was stirred up pre-race then reared and dwelt at the start before 9 lengths 8th over 1200m at Belmont on 21 September, then was a keen leader before tiring in the last 100m to run 1.9 lengths 5th over 1400m at Ascot on 12 October. She has won 2 of her 5 starts and both were over 1100m. Prefer her over shorter and am willing to risk her.
