This beautifully bred filly has only had one start and is already a winner. She took over at the 175m and kept kicking to hold off a challenger for a 0.4 length win over 1200m at Belmont on 21 September. Rates highly with Clint Johnston-Porter aboard and looks capable of back-to-back wins.

This five-year-old mare has placed at four of seven starts this campaign. She led until late when she tired and finished 3 lengths 5th over 1300m at Northam on 1 September, then tried hard for 1.5 lengths 3rd over 1100m at Northam on 25 September. She has raced here once before and ran 2nd. Looks worth an each -way bet.

Captain Sharmane (York Race 8 No. 2)
This five-year-old Magnus mare is the early favourite in this Rating 46+ Handicap over 1100m. Last campaign she was eased down to finish last of 11 over 1230m at Albany on 17 March, then the jockey was concerned with her action and she ran last of 12 over 1230m at Albany on 17 April. Resumes here after a spell of 24 weeks and is having her first run for a new trainer. Prefer to see.
