Hasn’t been far away at his last two starts. This five-year-old was taken back from a wide barrier before finishing 1.7 lengths 5th over 1300m at Kalgoorlie on 1 October, then put in a good run when 0.3 length 2nd over 1200m at Ascot on 15 October. Rates highly with Chris Parnham and looks ready to win.

Night Shift (Ascot Race 6 No. 6)
This four-year-old Star Witness mare has one win and one place from seven starts. She started favourite but disappointed when 3.3 lengths 7th over 1700m at Belmont on 26 September. After that she was a 2 length trial winner at Lark Hill on 7 October, then ran on strongly and took over late for a 0.6 length win on a Class One Handicap over 1200m at Ascot on 12 October. Rates highlly with Lucy Warwick retaining the ride and looks as if the extra distance will suit. Looks a solid each-way chance.

Restful (Ascot Race 1 No. 11)
This four-year-old Savabeel mare is the early favourite in this Maiden set weights race over 1600m. She resumed from a 38 week spell to finish 1.4 lengths 4th over 1200m at York on 6 October, then finished 1.4 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Ascot on 19 October. Other runners in the race look just as good and are at better odds.
