Starry Heights (Belmont Race 7 No. 11)
This three-year-old Star Turn gelding has only raced twice. On debut he made some ground for 1.1 lengths 4th over 1300m at Northam on 13 October, then angled clear three wide on the turn, took over at the 150m and got away for a 1.5 length win over 1400m at Northam on 27 October. William Pike takes the ride and he looks the leading hope.

Mr Fahrenheit (Belmont Race 8 No. 3)
This six-year-old Reward for Effort gelding has only won one of his 23 starts, but has placed 12 times. He took over at the 150m for a 0.8 length win over 2200m at Ascot on 19 October to finally break his maiden status, then made some ground for 2.7 lengths 4th over 2150m at Ascot on 1 November. Has raced at Belmont four times and has always placed. Rated highly with Peter Knuckey riding and looks a good each-way chance.

Micro Burst (Belmont Race 1 No. 5)
This five-year-old God Has Spoken mare is the early favourite in this maiden handicap over 1000m. She is one of four unraced runners in the race and although she has been trialling well. so have some of the others. She is too short for me in a race with many unknowns.
