This Rommel gelding trained by Neville Parnham was beaten by a bob of the head last start in a 3YO Maiden over 1400m at Northam last start. He led right to the end and should be able to go one better back to 1300m. Looks the one to beat

Eeyore Wayz (Northam Race 8 No. 7)
This six-year-old My Admiration gelding has seven wins and nine places from 35 starts. He raced wide without cover and finished 2.6 lengths 4th over 1650m at Belmont on 24 September, then worked clear 5 wide on the turn and ran on strongly for 0.7 length 2nd over 1400m at Ascot on 8 October. That was a nice lead-up run and he looks a good each-way chance in the Northam Cup.

Pray Again (Northam Race 7 No. 2)
This four-year-old Playing God gelding is the early favourite in this Class Five Handicap race over 1300m. He resumed from a 20 week spell for 0.6 length 5th in a bunched finish in a Class Three Handicap over 1400m at Ascot on 12 Octoberand this looks a tougher race. Willing to risk him.
