He raced wide without cover and finished 2.6 lengths 4th over 1650m at Belmont on 24 September, then worked clear 5 wide on the turn and ran on strongly for 0.7 length 2nd over 1400m at Ascot on 8 October. That was a nice lead-up run and he looks a good each-way chance in the Northam Cup.

This four-year-old Playing God gelding is the early favourite in this Class Five Handicap race over 1300m. He resumed from a 20 week spell for 0.6 length 5th in a bunched finish in a Class Three Handicap over 1400m at Ascot on 12 Octoberand this looks a tougher race. Willing to risk him.
