My Bella Mae (Ascot Race 2 No. 2)
I was very impressed with the first campaign of this 3YO filly. She won her first two 3YO starts by 2.3 and 1.7 lengths, then went to the Listed Placid Ark Stakes where she won by 1.7 lengths. They then threw her in the deep end in the Group 1 Winterbottom Stakes where she put in a honest effort for 3.7 lengths 9th after being struck by another riders whip. She’s had 9 weeks off and is back to a 3YO race where she should notch up win number 4.

Corn Cob (Ascot Race 9 No. 1)
This 4YO gelding has won 11 of his 25 starts and is incredibly consistent. He had a big weight and was overhauled late for 0.7 length 2nd over 1400m at Geraldton on 7 January, then kept coming steadily to get the bob in on the line for a narrow win over 1600m at Ascot on 14 January. Comes to a new trainer and steps up to 1800m. Looks well worth an each-way bet.

Wee Ripper (Ascot Race 3 No. 1)
This 8YO Blackfriars gelding is the early favourite in this 4YO and upwards No Metro Wins Last Year handicap over 1600m. He resumed from a 37 week break for 0.7 length 2nd over 1600m at Ascot on 14 January and has won twice second-up, but has a big weight and with only 5 wins from 43 starts I feel others offer better value.
