This four-year-old Blackfriars mare has two wins and two place from six starts. She worked forward for 0.1 length 2nd over 1700m at Belmont on 7 September, then ran on strongly to draw clear in the final 200m for a 2.3 length win over 2000m at Belmont on 14 September. She looks as if the extra 200m won’t be a problem and is the leading contender.

Sneaky Fox (Belmont Race 4 No. 3)
This five-year-old Gingerbread Man gelding has three wins and three place from 14 starts. He finiahed 1.4 lengths 3rd over 1400m at Northam on 14 July, then didn’t like the heavy track when 6.7 lengths 9th over 1300m at Pinjarra Park on 21 July. Returns from a nine week let-up. SHould race on the speed and looks a good each-way chance.

Birthday Ballot (Belmont Race 2 No. 9)
This three-year-old War Chant filly is the early favourite in this maiden handicap over 1200m. She was 16 lengths last of 6th on heavy going over 1200m at Belmont on 17 August, then 4.8 lengths 5th over 1300m at Belmont on 31 August. Others runners look closer to a win.
