Liked the return of Speed Lover who just lacked fitness late but still gave a good account in this grade. Strips fitter, has a strong 2nd up record, a fitness advantage over its rival and looks hard to hold out in this. The $3.00 is worth taking.

Miss Melbourne (Bendigo Race 6 No. 2)
Taking on the favourite here. The map looks tough from the wide draw and the danger in the market has both a map and fitness advantage over it. Moor will need some luck from barrier 9 and just over the 1100 won’t want to be getting too far back in this race. The $2.25 is short enough with both of those factors.
