Miss Middle Park has always shown good ability and they rarely go backwards when changing stables to the Maher and Eustace stable. She was in races harder than this last prep and a recent jumpout was encouraging. Form around Danaustar, Harbin and Blistering is more than good enough to get away with this.

Mexican Fiddler (Stony Creek Race 2 No. 3)
Mexican Fiddler didn’t have much luck last run but I like its chances in this field. Drawn to box seat, Ben Allen hops aboard and the horse is due for some change of luck. The each way price is solid and I expect it to be well backed.

Bucks (Stony Creek Race 6 No. 1)
Taking on the favourite here, Bucks, who was a good winner last start but in its 37 start career hasn’t put back to back wins together. The wide draw and the young apprentice on also remain a query, the $3.50 is well and truly short enough.
