Young Lucas (Casterton Race 8 No. 14)
Concede having a 4kg claimer on isn’t always great viewing however I thought Maddi Price rode Young Lucas well when on last start. She hops back aboard and given he drops 2kgs from his run 3 starts back in this grade when charging home and missing by a length he looks very well weighted here. His pattern is to get back and run on but if Maddi Price can angle him into the clear in time he can run over the top of them. For Ari is worth consideration for a saver.

Going well but the map is tricky and Meech will need plenty of luck in running. There is some good value about in this race and the $3.00 is very short given the likely wide run in transit it will recieve.
