Roots should have won the Group 3 Tesio Stakes at Moonee Valley last start and that looks clearly the best lead in for this. The bigger track will be to her liking and she gets James McDonald back in the saddle. Should take plenty of beating.

Charm Stone (Flemington Race 2 No. 2):
Was a solid run here on debut at the start of October. Like that she has the straight experience now (only one in the field) and the recent Cranbourne jump out was superb. Can be in this for a long way.

She’s Extreme (Flemington Race 8 No. 1):
Ran really well in the Spring Champion but is not for me at the current price. Barrier 1, synthetic hoof filler in both front feet and the distance are all queries.
