Calico Jack (Cranbourne Race 7 No. 9)
Hopefully Kah leads on Calico Jack. When it was able to control the race it broke maiden well and simply had no luck last start. Ultimate Focus remains a danger but has the wide draw and poor map. Calico Jack should relish the drop in grade and with the nice draw and Jamie Kah aboard it should prove too good.

Baekdu (Cranbourne Race 1 No. 2)
Baekdu has mixed its form to date but that is a result of issues on the day. It has started below $2.00 4 times in its 5 start career and obviously has plenty of ability but hasn’t been able to break maiden. We get $5.00 here after a poor run last start when it pulled up with EIPH. If it can bounce back its best form and ratings are better than this bunch. The price is on trust but it is worth taking.

Aminatu (Cranbourne Race 5 No. 2)
I’m a big of Aminatu but running out of patience with it. This does look a decent drop in grade but it hasn’t won in a long time and gets bo favours from the draw. I’d like to see it win again before considering, the $2.90 seems rock bottom.
