Grisbi’s Pal stuck on well after being caught wide and still had enough in the tank to find the placings behind Mr News who is a short priced favourite going around in the last. Live Life Loud will also need luck from the draw but its last run rated well and its a good hope in this field.

Not sure about the trial of Gleaming Legend who didn’t look cosy on a wet deck. With a bottomless track expected, the $3.90 is under the odds and its wheels may just spin in these conditions. Happy to avoid at the price.
