Like the form around Meg’s Magic. Beaten by a horse who has won again since. It maps kindly, brings in some strong last start ratings and finds a field well up to its level. Expecting the $4.50 to shorten by race day.

Diddley Squat (Sale Race 6 No. 2)
Decent leap in grade here is the knock with Diddley Squat. The danger in the race Ampere does have some very strong formlines and in a race of 2 I’m leaning to it because of the better price. The $2.45 is short enough for the favourite here.
