I was perplexed when they opted not to lead on Our August Rose last run. Its 4 career wins have come when leading. It still stuck on well to run third last start and this race looks easier. I am hoping Kelly takes it straight to the front as it’ll be very hard to run down. $11.00 appeals.

Kissinger is racing well and gets the perfect opportunity to strike in this field. Oliver will need a little luck from the draw but it looks well placed in this race and should be hard to beat dropping back from the mid weeks. The $5.50 appeals.

Angelic Scent (Bendigo Race 4 No. 2)
Angelic Scent should be hard to to beat but barrier 8 gives it no favours. The danger in the race Kissinger brings in stronger form and the favourite looks vulnerable at the price. The $2.80 is short enough against quite a stacked field.
