Belle Plaisir brings in group 1 formalises and that looks the right form for mine. It wasn’t far off I Wish I win earlier in its prep and ran 2nd to Sirileo Miss recently. That kind of form should hold it in good stead against this lot and it will take a power of beating against these.

Pocket Change (Kilmore Race 8 No. 3)
Taking the chance that Pocket Change is ready to go fresh. It won with total ease in this grade 2 starts back with Kelly aboard. It was 3 lengths away in open company and did beat Whatafox who came out and won by 5 lengths the other day. Some query after time off but the favourite here is also in the same boat. The $6.00 holds good appeal in a winnable race on return.

Vermentino (Kilmore Race 8 No. 6)
Taking on the favourite here who has had 11 months on the sidelines. It was an impressive win on debut but a recent trial was just fair. I’d rather slide with the danger in the race who has proven its self in open company. The $1.90 is short enough in this field.
