The rail comes out to the 3m position (was in the True a fortnight ago). They were getting away from the fence on that occasion and I expect they may do the same again here especially if the predicted rain hits. So middle to wide gates preferred.
There is also a reasonably strong north westerly breeze forecast. This usually hinders leaders at Caulfield. Something to be wary of if betting early.
