He was heavily backed on that occasion and it won’t surpise to see the market trend towards him again here. He is a horse that has always shown plenty of ability and I think he can keep progressing through the grades over the summer months.

Pesto made our black book after a nice closing effort at Moonee Valley last start. Is now third up getting out to a trip that suits and he won’t have to do any work from the low draw.

Currently a $5.50 chance with the bookmakers. He got away with murder out in front last start at Flemington and only just fell in. Now faces a tougher race and has a negative jockey change. I am against him.
