Spring is in the air with some of the better horses kicking off at Caulfield on Saturday. The Blue Diamond winner Little Brose and Golden Slipper runner-up Cylinder kick off in the Vain but its the duel Doncaster Handicap and All Star Mile winner Mr Brightside who is the headline act. He looks set to go around as a short price in the Group 2 feature – the P.B. Lawrence Stakes.
The track is rated Good and the rail is out 9m the entire circuit.

Resumes off a terrific Autumn campaign. Was very competitive in much better races than this and can end up with a gun run for Damien Oliver who is flying.

Ex Kiwi now with the Freedmans. He has been giving three jump outs ahead of this first up assignment and I like the way he’s been going in them. Can end up with a lovely trail here for Michael Dee.
