Lightly raced Queenslander who ventures south off the back of two excellent wins at Eagle Farm and Doomben. He looks a real talent this horse and finds a great set up here – third up, on the minimum, with a good draw and Damian Lane in the saddle.

Spacewalk (Caulfield Race 5 No. 8)
Son of Exsophere who resumes in the Group 3 Vain Stakes. Have loved his two recent Warwick Farm trials. He trucked to the line strongly under his own steam in the first of them. More of the same in the second, however this time around he was doing it next to a quality trial horse in Malkovich and a Group 1 winner in Snapdancer. Also gets a key gear change with the synthetic hoof filler coming off. This is usually an indication that a horse has had feet issues and those problems have been resolved.

Thalassophile (Caulfield Race 2 No. 3):
Currently a $5.50 chance with the bookies in the fillies and mares benchmark 78. I think that price is under the odds given she has been up for a while and barrier one is unlikely to suit.
