Draft Day looks hard to beat in this field. It found the trip and wide draw a bit too much of a task but the prior run was excellent beating Sharper who bolted in the other day. The form looks good, Allen gets a nice run in transit from the draw and this race is well within reach.

Dream Hour (Pakenham Race 7 No. 4)
I was taken by the win of Dream Hour. The stable scratched it from a stakes race on Saturday and saved it for this so clearly there are some lofty heights in place for this galloper. While the form didn’t hold up the other day I still believe it is on an upward spiral and should prove hard to hold out in this race. The $5.00 appeals.

Won well to break maiden last start but the field it beat and ratings produced was just fair. In a race stacked with value the $2.70 is a short price and I expect it to drift from the current quote.
