Was well backed to beat the Caulfield Guineas favourite Steparty here first up. No match but had some excuses there and was still good enough to run third. That’s clearly the strongest form line in this race.

Was taken by Verdad’s debut win at Bendigo. Sat on speed and raced away from a handy maiden field. This is not a strong edition of the Stutt Stakes. I think that form can measure up here.
