Our Launceston Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday

Best Bet

Coeur De Lyon (Launceston Race 5 No. 1):

On what looks an even card with limited stand-out chances, I’m keen to be with this useful gelding from the Cameron Thompson yard.

He has a great record fresh and brings strong performances behind the likes of JAGUAR STONE and TURK WARRIOR to a limited BM62 field. Worth noting that in a recent trial he played up as they jumped and missed the kick – before nearly rounding them up on a tight Longford track. With an even getaway here could sit handy enough to stalk the speed in a wide trailing position . The claim for EBB’s services is a bonus and she should be able to get the last crack at them late.

$5.50 (At time of writing)

How to pick a winner

Best Each Way

Zeva Royale (Launceston Race 4 No. 9):

This mare is deadset flying, and is due a bit of luck in running after a luckless preparation. She was found out late going to 2100m last start and should be more suited here dropping back to the mile. The race tempo looks relatively strong, and if Anthony Darmanin can follow the right runner and find a gap over the last furlong she will be rattling home.

$7.00 (At time of writing)

Best Lay

Did You Decide (Launceston Race 4 No. 6):

Despite a positive map for the in-form Annells-Cotton combination (23.8% SR last 21 runners), DID YOU DECIDE looks well and truly under the odds here. He brings limited Class 1 form to a race of solid BM62-70 performers and at the current price I’d be keen to take him on, both WIN and PLACE.

LAY for 1 unit at < $6.00/2.00

Our Randwick Tips for Wednesday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is in the true position. The best bet looks primed to win first up while there is plenty of value on offer about the best each way bet. Best Bet Cigar Flick (Randwick Race 5 No. 6) Class runner who looks very well placed in this company. Maps well with J-Mac aboard and this race is well and truly within reach. Very hard to beat from the good barrier. $2.45

Horse Racing Tips : SA Wednesday 13th March 2024

Our Strathalbyn Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday's meeting. Key Comments The track is currently rated a Good 4 and the rail remains in the true position. Best Bet Into The Light (Strathalbyn Race 3 No. 9) She has 3 places from 6 starts and resumes from a let-up. This looks easier than some of the races she has been in and looks the right race for her to break her maiden status. $1.90      Best

Horse Racing Tips : NSW Tuesday 12th March 2024

Our Goulburn Tips for Tuesday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is in 7 metres which will help those on speed. The best bet rises in grade but off the back of a strong debut and looks well placed to win again. Best Bet Picksix (Goulburn Race 3 No. 3) Likeable effort on debut when finding the line beating a smart one. Drawn a touch awkward but looks well placed to be winning again and has had very good market support.  $3.70

Horse Racing Tips : VIC Tuesday 12th March 2024

Our Warrnambool Tips for Tuesday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is out 6m. The hurdles are back and good to see things ramp up again before the Warrnambool carnival. 3 hurdle races kick off the day followed by a steeplechase. The best bet goes around in the last hurdle race of the day. Best Bet Nelson (Warrnambool Race 3 No. 5) Going with the class of the race Nelson who looks well placed in this field. He took on some stronger races last
