He was a 1.3 length winner over 1875m at Kyneton on 16 December, then chased steadily the entire straight for 2.2 lengths 5th over 2000m at Flemington on 15 January. Should race on the speed and looks a solid each-way bet.

This four-year-old Ocean Park gelding trained by Jim Taylor has one win and two places from eight starts and is the early favourite in this Maiden/Class 1 over 1600m. He won by over 11 lengths in a maiden handicap over 1400m at King Island on 26 December, then just missed for 0.2 length 2nd over 1400m at King Island on 2 January. Steps up in distance and prepared to risk him here.
