Thought Sharma’s Last would be mighty hard to beat.
Impressive debut winner, has had a couple of nice trials coming into this, should be far too good for his rivals. Black odds looks good, looks a thin race outside of him.

Best Each Way
Twee (Launceston Race 4 No. 9) – 1200m BM60
Tricky little race, but keen to be against current favourite Warica.
I landed on Twee, who’s always thereabouts and gets the services of in-form rider Troy Baker. She should get a lovely run in behind the speed from Gate 5, and with the blinkers coming off should settle a little kinder too. Looks a great each-way bet at the price.

Best Lay
Bello Beau (Launceston Race 5 No. 1) – 1200m 3YO
Call me crazy, but I’ll happily put my plumbs on the line and lay Bello Beau.
He could well be the best 3YO in TAS, but this race is his toughest assignment on home soil to date. I think JAGUAR STONE and BOLD INSTINCT can run a good race, and am particularly interested in the tactics of Dean Yendall who jumps on BOLD INSTINCT, a master tactician it wouldn’t surprise me if he rode to give this race a shake. At the current price, I’m happy to lay.

Best Bet Jokers Grin (Belmont Race 3 No. 8) First-starter who was very impressive winning a Lark Hill trial by over 4 lengths on 6th May.
