Our Launceston Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday
Best Bet
Mira Flores (Launceston Race 2 No. 9):
Really keen on this mare for the John Blacker stable. Thought she got a softer run here from Barrier 4 with Liam Riordan booked – who is currently airborne when booked for the stable (21% SR), and could run a stronger 1400m than her rivals. She’s had two strong performances in TAS and is ready to peak here 3rd up.
$5.50 (At time of writing)
Best Each Way
Swoop There It Is (Launceston Race 5 No. 9):
Sticking with the theme of Liam Riordan, I’m keen to be with him on an each-way basis in Race 5 with SWOOP THERE IT IS.
On debut, this 3YO Filly by Alpine Eagle has improved with every trial and should give us a sight up on speed. Although her trial wasn’t run at lightning speed, she did it under her own steam and showed solid race craft throughout. Current favourite SHOOTING NORTH is very short for mine, and is overplayed in early markets after delivering little substance in his career to date.
Think this Siggy Carr trained filly looks an each-way special.
$11.00 (At time of writing)
Best Lay
Hilarity (Launceston Race 1 No. 7):
This 2YO filly from the Barry Campbell stable has been well-found in her two career starts to date and found a few better each time. The form out of those runs has been merky at best and I think her previous SPs, along with the trainer/jockey combo is keeping her short in the market. She has shown a tendency to be slow away, and I think this could prove costly for her with her two main rivals SIR JAG and JOHNNIE PINCH likely landing in the first couple. Happy to be against HILARITY at the early price.

Our Caulfield Tips for Wednesday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is true and racing on the new Heath track. The best bet resumes and looks well placed to return a winner in what is a suitable race. Best Bet Miss Aria (Caulfield Race 6 No. 7) Was solid behind the smart Riff Rocket early doors before knocking over her maiden convincingly. Was excellent in 2 stakes races following and then had enough and put aside for a spell. Capable of taking this

Our Belmont Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday's meeting. The track is rated as a Good 4 and the rail is +4 metres the entire circuit. Best Bet Tin Chooks (Belmont Race 7 No. 2) Tin Chooks won over 1600m at Pinjarra Scarpside last outing with the best closing splits of the race. The runner-up in that race just missed on Saturday and the third horse has won a mares race at Albany since. Paul Harvey takes the reins again and he should be
