It’s been seven races for a win and four places for this three-year-old Rubick filly trained by Scott Brunton. Resuming from an 18 week spell she finished 3 lengths 2nd over 1009m on the Devonport Tapeta Synthetic on 3 December, then got to the lead early and stayed there for a 2 length win over 1100m at Devonport on 19 December. Drawn perfectly in barrier 1 she has good early speed and can win again.

This six-year-old Mr Innocent mare trained by Kelvin Hamilton has placed at her two latest starts. She ran home well for 2.5 lengths 2nd over 1600m at Hobart on 29 December, then hit the line nicely for a length 3rd over 1600m at Hobart on 7 January. She is worth an each-way bet.

This four-year-old Whittington gelding trained by Adam Trinder has four wins and four places from 12 starts and is the early favourite in this BM 68 Handicap over 1200m. He was a 1.25 length winner over 1150m at Devonport on 22 December, then started favourite and ran 0.3 length 3rd over 1150m at Devonport on 5 January. Has been unplaced at both previous runs at this track and prepared to risk him here.
