Maarkle (Launceston Race 7 No. 6):
Meets a similar field to last start where it was given a colder ride than usual, and hit the line nicely. Loves this track and trip and should get every possible from an inside draw. Nice jockey switch too with Bruno Neto jumping on, he really suits these get back run on horses and should be able to weave a passage late from a likely 3-fence position in run – keen to play each-way.

Chosen Eagle (Launceston Race 4 No. 4):
Very open race and happy to be against this gelding. Gets a tricky draw here with plenty of speed drawn inside of him and this can prove a lot of horses undoing at Launceston over the sprint trips. The McCoull/Trinder combination should keep this horse short in the market and I’m happy to be against as a result.
