Returned to form last start over the mile when unwanted by the market. She drops in grade here and I actually like her back in trip to 1400m, top apprentice Chelsea Baker also jumps on for local trainer John Blacker.
MARIPOSA doesn’t win out of turn and needs a fair bit to go her way in-run but I’m confident that if Chelsea gets a kind run in transit I think this Mare is worth a bet at the current price.

Come out of strong race behind in-form JUST A TRIBUTE. Should control the race from the front with only 50kg on her back, on a tight Longford track she looks a chance to pinch this with the right ride. David Keating should have her primed for a top performance on the home deck.
