Our Devonport Horse Racing Tips for the weekend.
Ginny Ann (Devonport Race 4 No. 6)
I am very keen on GINNY ANN here, she just looks to tick a lot of boxes and I had her clear favourite. She goes up in trip and gets a gun run behind the speed in a similar race to last start. Most importantly she gets a senior rider on who should be able to straighten her up if she lays in late – which brought her undone last start. I’ll likely chop out on IRIS WEST who’s the map horse and might be able to pinch it with Siggy on board.
BACK Ginny Ann for 2 units at $3.00+
SAVE Iris West at $7.50+

Misirlou (Devonport Race 5 No. 6) & Recompensa (Devonport Race 5 No. 10):
This race was a bit of a head scratcher, and no result would really surprise me. I can foresee MISIRLOU either getting to the top easily, or under heavy riding, which could throw up a few different results. If the speed goes on and the field breaks up, RECOMPENSA will be steaming home. She finds herself down in class and out in trip, off a couple of handy runs – including last Sunday, where she came home super against the pattern of the day. Conversely if MISIRLOU can find the top or outside leader with ease, she could given them a similar showing to last start, winning eased down. Given the prices of the runners in early markets I am happy to spec both MISIRLOU and RECOMPENSA and hope to come up with a result on the race.
BACK Misirlou for 0.5 units at $6.00+
BACK Recompensa for 0.5 units at $12.00+
Best Lay
Mon Cheval (Devonport Race 3 No. 1):
Really struggled to find a confident LAY on the card, so thought I’d try and take on a vulnerable favourite and I think MON CHEVAL fits that profile. The gelding was fairly disappointing last start when well backed into favouritism. I think it’s likely he just doesn’t get the full 1100m, particularly after a couple of tough runs. Hoping DAWN EAGLE or TILTHEREWARSYOU can wave good bye at the 100-75m mark.

Our Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting. Key Comments The rail is in the true position. The best bet resumes off a break and showed plenty of determination to win from a hopeless spot last start. Best Bet The Autumn Belle (Sandown Hillside Race 4 No. 10) Sticking with her after a brilliant finale when rattling home from a tough spot. Barrier 2 and Damian Lane are both ideal for this race and she will take some beating despite jumping back in trip.

Our Warwick Farm Tips for Wednesday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is in the true position. The best bet gets a drop in class, kind draw and J-Mac hoping aboard. Plenty to like about its chances. Best Bet Etna Rosso (Warwick Farm Race 4 No. 1) Liked the last start run when not having much luck behind an in form bunch of runners. The form has been franked since and was scratched from the weekend in preference for this. With J-Mac aboard and the

Our Launceston Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday. The evening meeting has 9 races with the first at 5.36pm. The track is a Soft 5 and the rail is +8 metres from the 1200m to the winning post and +6 metres for the remainder. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with an advantage to those who find the inside lanes in the straight. David Pires has some good rides.
