Horse Racing Tips : TAS Sunday 16th April 2023

Our Hobart Horse Racing Tips for Sunday’s meeting.

Best Bet

Romary (Hobart Race 1 No. 2) & Travelling Gigolo (Hobart Race 1 No. 1)

This mare is absolutely flying and can continue her picket fence here. ROMARY’s win last start was solid, despite them walking out in front. Think she can control this race and go along at even tempo and prove too good again. If she over does it in front the one dive bombing late will be TRAVELLING GIGOLO who is dropping in both grade and trip sharply and brings race fitness to this contest. Think this is the easiest 2-bet play in history.

$2.25 & $4.00

Best Each Way

Wounded Miss (Hobart Race 7 No. 8):

DANTES looks pretty hard to beat here but if something were to knock the favourite off, I thought WOUNDED MISS could run a race. She’s been freshened up here and is proven over the 1400m. Should get a nice soft run along the rail and if she’s around her best she should be able to run into the money.

$17.00/3.50

Best Lay

Sally Sunshine (Hobart Race 7 No. 6):

Even race outside the favourite and thought this mare was drawn a bit sticky. Been a long prep for this mare and I think she’s too short at the current price. Happy to lay her to run into the money.
