MOSHAMA was one horse outside the market who looks to have a decent chance at upsetting the Apple cart. Thought he returned well l/s and should be better 2nd up getting out to the mile. Worth a small bet eachway.

Was hoping to get a price about ROYAL AND TOUGH but he’s come up short enough. He may have a tricky steer from an inside draw, for a horse who has been slow away. 

BELPINE MISS finally draws a marble, and gets to Hobart 4th up. She’s been flying home on bias launny tracks when drawn the carpark. Think she can go close here.

Tricky little race and I think the fave has come up a touch short. Happy to speck around it.

NEVS BOY has been going super and love that he sticks to the sprint trips at Hobart. If Bruno can find a backside he’ll be flying home late. 

CAPTAIN DAVE comes here off a little break between runs, and love that he’s back to the sprint trips. If Chelsea Baker can go forward he might give some cheek.

TARKINE EAGLE looks the pace in the race. He had a decent prep last time in, and looks well suited here with a thin field on both ability and speed. Should control the race under Troy Baker. 

Hard to get a handle on DOMINATORS GIRL. She was put away after a good trial and resumes here. Betting says she’s ready to repeat her debut win. Was a hard horse to price and as such I’m happy to play the race cautiously.

Feature race of the day. Looks a cracker.

Pretty happy to look around the favourites who are drawn poorly and look to cop a bit of pressure in running.

Thought DUNBRODY POWER ran super in her first run in TAS. She looks to get a nice suck run, and if she can get out at a crucial stage could give them a scare. I had her as an overlay at the current price, and worth a small 1×3 play.
