STEEL SKIES looks set to peak at the mile. Really thought he fought on well last start, having his first look around. If he can position himself in behind the speed I think he will take some beating. KING ISLAND is another horse of interest in this race. He’s up in grade and faces a tough ask, but he looks the map horse and worth saving on.

THREE’S A CROWD ran home well last start, but I think she was slightly flattered by coming home along the rail, whilst her rivals were out wide in the quicksand. From barrier 10 I think Codi Jordan has some work ahead of her – I have her likely to be caught wide or having to go back to last. For this reason I’m happy to be against at the current price.
