OLE OLA looks to get a few favours here, after an unlucky run on debut. If she had got the gaps late, I think she would have been a clear winner. I think Siggy can control the race here and be winning.
Best Each Way
Milla’s Ready (Launceston Race 3 No. 8):
Unlucky last start when inconvenienced coming to the home turn, and still hit the line well. Think WARICA is a vulnerable favourite here and MILLA’S READY is a real danger at the each-way price if she can get a good run in transit.
Best Lay
Michbar (Launceston Race 6 No. 3):
This could prove to be lay I’ll regret but at the price I’m inclined to take on MICHBAR. Although boasting a career record of 16:6-4-2 and the deadly combination of McCoull/Trinder I think this is a tough assignment, and at $2.60 he looks short enough. I actually have SIRENE STRYKER favourite here with the expected tempo and race shape, as well as a couple of other runners well and truly in the mix and for those reasons I’ll be taking him on at the current quote.
