Our Hobart Horse Racing Tips for the Melbourne Cup Day meeting.
Best Bet
Copper Charm (Hobart Race 6 No. 3)
Not overly deterred by the early drift on COPPER CHARM in early markets. I think she came up a touch short but is now getting out to a backable price. She had excuses last start when over-racing following interference, drops back to the 1000m here and from a wide gate I think Chloe Wells can jump and run, sit on speed and kick for home. OUTBOUND the obvious danger, but I thought his last start performance was sub-par at best, and not sure he wants to win.

Moshama (Hobart Race 7 No. 9):
In a day I’m not overly keen to bet, I thought MOSHAMA was worth a throw at the stumps in the last. Looks a messy race on paper, and I thought this horse ran super last prep without winning. Drops in grade here and with an economical run, he could run an improved race and be thereabouts in the finish if a few things favours fall his way.

Just A Tribute (Hobart Race 5 No. 2):
Looks a top chance in the race, but for a horse that’s 1 win from 21 starts and likely to get back in the run I just can’t come into the short price.
Additionally, rider Bulent Muhcu is going at 6%SR for his last 100 rides, and with in-form David Pires on the main danger I can’t help but query the favourites price.
Admittedly faces a small field here and won’t be that far off them on the turn but happy to take him on and find out.

Our Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting. Key Comments The rail is in the true position. The best bet resumes off a break and showed plenty of determination to win from a hopeless spot last start. Best Bet The Autumn Belle (Sandown Hillside Race 4 No. 10) Sticking with her after a brilliant finale when rattling home from a tough spot. Barrier 2 and Damian Lane are both ideal for this race and she will take some beating despite jumping back in trip.

Our Warwick Farm Tips for Wednesday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is in the true position. The best bet gets a drop in class, kind draw and J-Mac hoping aboard. Plenty to like about its chances. Best Bet Etna Rosso (Warwick Farm Race 4 No. 1) Liked the last start run when not having much luck behind an in form bunch of runners. The form has been franked since and was scratched from the weekend in preference for this. With J-Mac aboard and the

Our Launceston Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday. The evening meeting has 9 races with the first at 5.36pm. The track is a Soft 5 and the rail is +8 metres from the 1200m to the winning post and +6 metres for the remainder. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with an advantage to those who find the inside lanes in the straight. David Pires has some good rides.
