Fairly confident NEUTRALIZE was the one to be with, and my best bet on a tricky day.
She went super 2nd up behind Donna’s Day who subsequently when onto win again in good time. Think she’ll find the front here and with a 4kg claimer will be bowling along and prove too quick for the rest, especially over the 1100m 3rd up.
She’s a free running horse and I honestly hope the apprentice can’t hold her, and uses this to her advantage, playing catch me if you can. Thought ELLA EXCEEDS was the main danger to the favourite here, and may be worth chopping out on at the $6.00.

Chosen Eagle (Hobart Race 5 No. 2):
Another tough race here, but I’ve found one from the (struggling) Adam Trinder yard, who may be worth an each-way ticket. Trinder is a class trainer but has only been going at 10% from his last 50 runners, not great for a lifetime 16% trainer… but I think he’s ready to turn the corner with a jam-packed Devonport / Launceston calendar coming up.
CHOSEN EAGLE ran home super last start on a track that was favouring on pace runners. He was only 2nd up there off 200+ days and just peaked on his run late. He goes up to 7 furlongs here and provided the track gives runners a chance to run on, he should be strong to the line late.

This could be the worst race in Australia on your Sunday morning. I honestly have no idea who’ll be winning, but if I were a betting man (which I am) I’d be laying HER THOUGHTS until your nose bleeds. This horse is a genuine non-winner that will retire as a maiden, she’s drawn wide with work to do to find the top (where she’s most comfortable in run). I think she’s come up very short, coming out of a very slow race, and I’d be laying her confidently.

Our Eagle Farm Horse Racing Tips for the 23rd of March. Key Comments Track is a Soft 5. 10 race program with the best bet comes up in race 4 and will appreciate the drop in grade. Best Bet El Morzillo (Eagle Farm Race 4 No. 2) Tough draw but will appreciate the drop in grade and with even luck in running can prove hard to beat. Didn't have much luck last run but brings in some very credible form. $2.90

Our Scone Tips for Friday’s meeting. The track is heavy. The rail is true. The best bet is in the second race of the day and will be hard to beat despite the wide draw. Best Bet Silent Russian (Scone Race 2 No. 4) Tough draw but racing well and can land up on the speed and prove hard to beat.
