Horse Racing Tips : SA Wednesday 5th July 2023

Today’s Meeting Key Comments

It’s the last meeting of the racing year for the Mount Gambier Club and the track is a Heavy 10 with the chance of more showers on Wednesday. The rail is out four metres from the 1800m-1600m, including the 1800m chute and is true from the 1550m to the winning post. Jockeys to follow here are Kate Walters, Harry Grace and Dom Tourneur. Trainer Wayne Walters is the leading trainer here and has runners in all races.

Our Mount Gambier Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting.

Joe’s Giggle (Mount Gambier Race 5 No. 2)

He resumed for a 2 length win over 1400m at Horsham on a Heavy 8 on 28 May, then ran 2nd over 1563m at Mount Gambier on a Heavy 10 on 18 June. Up in distance, should be fitter for 2 runs back and can handle the heavy conditions. Should be winning.

How to pick a winner

Best Each Way

Mylitlestarthatcan (Mount Gambier Race 7 No. 5)
This three-year-old gelding won a 1213m Maiden Plate at Mount Gambier on 18 June. That was his 6th start and the track was a Heavy 10. He takes a 3kg claim for Britney Wong who was successful on him last start and looks a nice each-way chance here, as many of the runners aren’t proven in the mud.

Best Lay

Thunderandlightning (Mount Gambier Race 7 No. 4)
This five-year-old gelding is the early favourite in this BM 62 Handicap over 1400m.  He just missed as favourite last start over 1100m at Warrnambool and is up in distance. Other runners offer better value.

Our Sandown Hillside Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday’s meeting. Key Comments The rail is in the true position. The best bet resumes off a break and showed plenty of determination to win from a hopeless spot last start. Best Bet The Autumn Belle (Sandown Hillside Race 4 No. 10) Sticking with her after a brilliant finale when rattling home from a tough spot. Barrier 2 and Damian Lane are both ideal for this race and she will take some beating despite jumping back in trip.

Our Warwick Farm Tips for Wednesday's meeting. Key Comments The rail is in the true position. The best bet gets a drop in class, kind draw and J-Mac hoping aboard. Plenty to like about its chances. Best Bet Etna Rosso (Warwick Farm Race 4 No. 1) Liked the last start run when not having much luck behind an in form bunch of runners. The form has been franked since and was scratched from the weekend in preference for this. With J-Mac aboard and the

Our Launceston Horse Racing Tips for Wednesday. The evening meeting has 9 races with the first at 5.36pm. The track is a Soft 5 and the rail is +8 metres from the 1200m to the winning post and +6 metres for the remainder. As a general rule, runners who land in the front half of the field are suited at this track, with an advantage to those who find the inside lanes in the straight. David Pires has some good rides. Our Doomben Horse Racing Tips for the 6th of March. The rail is out 9 metres. With constant rainfall across the past few days expect the track to be in the soft range. The best bet comes up in race 6 and ticks plenty of boxes to be notching up another win. Best Bet Bubba's Bay (Doomben Race 6 No. 2) Has been around the mark this prep and maps for a lovely time of it from barrier 6. Kindly weighted and this field
