This 3YO Press Statement gelding worked home strongly from the back of the field to get there on the line for a narrow win over 1000m at Murray Bridge on 14 October, then was spelled. He was a close 2nd in a Strathalbyn trial on 16 January, gets Eran Boyd who rode him at his previous start/win and is nicely drawn. Strong chance.

Finney (Murray Bridge Race 4 No. 7)
This six-year-old Sebring gelding resumed from a 23 week spell for 3rd over 1400m here on 20 January. He drifted back to the tail of the field before running on strongly to grab 3rd. The longer trip is a plus and he looks a solid each-way chance.
