Drops back in distance and looks a strong hope on a track he has won on.

This five-year-old Manhattan Rain mare has ran a place at his last four starts. He led until he tired late and finished 3rd over 1550m at Mount Gambier on 19 October, then finished 2.7 lengths 2nd behind a comfortable leader over 1430m at Naracoorte on 30 October. Has drawn the rails and is on a 4 day back-up. Looks a nice each-way chance.

This four-year-old Star Turn mare is the early favourite in this BM 56 Handicap over 1100m. She came from last to finish 7.5 lengths 6th over 1500m at Gawler on 9 July, then worked home solidly for 1.1 lengths 2nd over 1300m at Morphettville Parks on 16 July. Resumes from a 15 week spell but has not won first-up before. Prepared to risk her.
