Last campaign this I Am Invincible gelding won all 3 of his starts, finishing with a 0.5 length win over 1100m at Morphettville on 2 November. When he resumed he was well back last and ran on strongly for 1.5 lengths over 1050m at Morphettville on a heavy track on 20 June, where he conceded an impossible start and did well to finish 4th. I expect him to keep more in touch this time and return to the winner’s stall.

Each Way

Just Rolling (Gawler Race 6 No. 6):
Last campaign this Sebring gelding finished 10.4 lengths 5th over 2050m at Strathalbyn on 5 January before spelling. He resumed with a strong 0.5 length win over 1600m at Murray Bridge on a soft track on 24 June, where he was back at the tail with no cover and worked home nicely to pass the leaders in the closing stages. He won at his only previous start at Gawler and looks a good each-way chance here.

Mabel Josephine (Gawler Race 3 No. 6):
This grey mare is the early favourite in this 1200m mares race. She drove hard late in a three-way finish for 0.1 length, 0.1 length 3rd over 1350m at Strathalbyn on 10 June, then battled away for 2.4 lengths 6th over 1300m at Morphettville Parks on 27 June. She rarely wins and I’m not expecting her to win here.
