He chased solidly before peaking in the final 100m for 1.2 lengths 3rd over 1050m at Morphettville on 26 December, then changed stable and finished 0.7 length 2nd over 1000m at Moonee Valley on 28 January. Has won twice at this track and distance combination, and looks the likely winner.

This 4YO mare has won her last 2 races with a 2 length win over 2100m at Gawler and a 1.2 length win in the Strathalbyn Cup over 2050m last start. In great form at the moment and is one of the main chances to win the Listed Premier’s Plate over 2019m.

Bellman (Morphettville Race 9 No. 3)
This four-year-old gelding trained by Lindsey Smith at Warrnambool is the early favourite in this BM 60 Handicap over 1800m. He ran 2.2 lengths 6th over 1400m at Terang on 20 December, then was held up when 1.1 lengths 3rd over 1700m at Warrnambool on 8 January and looked unlucky to have not been 2nd. Gets a 2kg claim and should go well but meets a fairly strong field for a BM60 and other runners offer more value.
