Count Da Beans looks very nicely placed in this field. It was tried in open company and found them too slick but finds a very winnable race on resuming and Orman does the steering. The $2.40 is a kind price. I expect it to be well backed and it can kick the day off for us with a winner.

Gambu ran well last start and got the win. This race looks suitable and some of these have reached their peak. While the map is slightly awkward, Ben Thompson sticks and Waller knows how to place his horses well in these kinds of races. The $9.00 has solid appeal.

Jakkalberry Finn (Sunshine Coast Race 4 No. 1)
Happy to take on the favourite given it will need plenty of luck from barrier 13. It has solid claims but there are 3-4 chances in this race and the early $3.70 is short in a field that has plenty of value. Happy to risk at the current quote.
