NSW form tends to hold in Queensland more often than not and Pretes brings a huge ratings advantage on this field. The tricky draw came be overcome by the talented Ben Thompson and it wouldn’t have to improve much off its last run to be taking this race out.

Cripps Tonite was solid winning last start but does see a decent leap in depth here. I had a few of these priced a lot closer and Cripps Tonite looks very short as a clear cut favourite. I expect it to drift from the $2.60 quote and others in this race present better value.
