Should be very hard to beat here after a luckless run fresh last prep in the NSW midweeks. It has the right ratings and profile to be winning this race and expecting the NSW form to hold up against this lot. It has an awkward draw to overcome but I will leave that to James Orman.

Born A Warrior (Doomben Race 8 No. 2)
Has a habit of always finding one better but when $2.80 place odds are on offer for a horse that has run 5 consecutive seconds this prep that looks too good not to take. Wiggins sticks in the saddle, it maps for a nice run in transit and is due for a change of luck. Each way all day here.

Geo (Doomben Race 6 No. 2)
Against Geo in this field. It seemed to have its chance last run after being heavily backed and only battled in for 6th. Mallyon isn’t racing in overly good form and there are a few dangers in this race. The $3.50 is short enough in this field.
