He raced up to hit the lead at the 200m but was overpowered in the final 50m and finished 2nd over 1100m at Mackay on 21 October, then led all the way. cotrolling the race, for a 1.8 length win over 1200m at Mackay on 10 November. Looks the likely winner.

This 5YO mare has placed twice at this track before. She finished 2.5 lengths 5th over 1000m at Emerald on 12 November, then was a 1.5 length winner over 800m at Thangool on 26 November. Worth an each-way bet.

The Company (Mackay Race 4 No. 5)
The Company is one of several runners making their debut in this 3YO Maiden Plate over 1100m. He has trialled twice for 3rd of 4 at Rockhampton, then was a 0.7 length trial winner over 900m at Rockhampton. Should run well but a couple of the raced horses look to have an edge over him.
