Our Horse Racing Tips for the 9th of July at Doomben. The feature races include the Darby Mccarthy (race 6), Chief De Beers (race 7) and Pam O’Neill Stakes (race 8).

The Big Goodbye (Doomben Race 5 No. 3)
My thoughts and prayers are with Leah Kilner and here’s hoping here favourite horse The Big Goodbye gets the job done. Unbeaten on the heavy, KWT will be giving it the ride of his life and like many punters across the nation, hope it lands the win. Not only would it be sentimental but the claims for the horse are undeniable in this race, it ticks all the boxes and will be raring to go.

Cafe Royal (Doomben Race 9 No. 10)
It may look a throw at the stumps on paper but Cafe Royal has hit the top 3 in its past 3 runs on heavy tracks. It meets Dzsenifer 1kg better for a half a length margin last time they met and there is $65 between them.

Tillanam (Doomben Race 4 No. 2)
While Tilianam was mighty impressive for us last time out securing the win, I am against it in this race. Its past 2 runs on heavy tracks have been woeful and while Tony Gollan has done an incredible job with it winning first up I simply can’t have it favourite on a wet deck. Unless Gollan has been able to apply flippers to Tilianams feet I think it will come undone in this with the deteriorating track.
