By no means an easy race but happy to be with Ponca at the $18.00 mark. It has measured up nicely both its past 2 runs and was soft to the line last start. It maps for a nice run in transit and has run a fast enough last 600 on multiple occasions to be worth considering here.

Aramayo (Doomben Race 5 No. 1)
Aramayo has been around the mark this prep but comes back to the right race. Jamie Kah and barrier 5 are both ticks, it should be ready to peak and has an excellent 4th up record. The $4.00 is a solid price in a slightly easier race than last start.

Juan Diva (Doomben Race 8 No. 2)
Taking on Juan Diva in the Nudge Stakes. While it has bee racing well it really is overdue for a win this prep. The map looks a bit tricky and in a quality field I would like to see it put another win on the board before considering. The $3.50 is short enough.

Best Bet The Candy Kid (Belmont Race 1 No. 2) The Candy Kid has been runner-up at his last 2 starts and looks ready to win. He did some work on the speed last start and battled on well. The blinkers go back on and he should be hard to beat. $2.20
